Just so you know I swallowed the anti-malaria pill. It was hot pink, like peptobismal. (I hope it was coated with that so it won't be too hard on my liver.)
I didn't have any strange reactions...... yet. I still have four more pills to take, so you never know.
I can't believe in about two and a half hours it will be 2009. I was just getting used to writing 2008! : ) It seems like the times are speeding up.

Ready for Africa!

Hey all.
I'm new to this. I've decided to create a blog to keep in touch with loved ones and friends while I'll be in Tanzania, Africa for just under a month.
Officially I have 9 days until I take the never ending plane ride ; )
At least we have a layover in London...not too shabby. Hopefully we will be able to get out and explore the city a bit.
Tomorrow will be the real test. The malaria pill will have to be stomached...ahh! Hopefully I won't have the typical reaction of nausea & vomiting or have the crazy unusual reactions like purple/blue hands, or bleached hair.
